The DEKKA HS is a specially designed tape head for high speed packaging lines. With the Soft Touch Feature that allows for a lower collapse tension but a greater wipe down force, the DEKKA HS ensures that all boxes are sealed perfectly no matter the speed of the packaging line. Each component of the tape head has been revised to maintain the same robust feel of any DEKKA tape head while meeting high speed packaging demands.

The issue with high speed applications is often with proper wiping down of the rear tabs. With the secondary spring from the Soft Touch Feature on the DEKKA HS, the tape head is able to quickly rebound and "chase" the case to properly wipe down the rear tab without issue.

The M series of tape heads are highly customized or modified tape heads. The DEKKA Sentry 4 Tape Alert System monitors tape head operation and notifies nearby operators of current or upcoming issues with the tape head. Alarms for low tape levels and case sealing issues ensure that operators are alerted immediately to avoid minor problems from escalating.

The Sentry 4 consists of special DEKKA tape heads with built-in control units that provide power to proximity sensors. Operators are alerted both audibly and visually with a tri-light beacon to quickly grab the attention of nearby operators.

Operators are often too busy to notice issues with the tape head such as missed cuts or low levels of tape on the roll. Not realizing that a tape head has run out of tape for several minutes can cause significant slowdowns or even stoppages in production.
